Greg King | Founder & Lead Educator

25+ Years Surf Lifesaving Experience | Building Industry Background | Elite First Aid & Rescue Trainer

With over 25 years on the front lines of volunteer surf lifesaving on the Central Coast, Greg King knows that when an emergency strikes, seconds count.

Decades spent navigating the volatile surf at beaches like Ocean Beach and Terrigal taught Greg an immutable truth: true lifesaving skills cannot be learned solely from a textbook. They require practical, muscle-memory training designed for the real world.

Greg is now training in Grafton and within the Clarence Valley region, bringing a wealth of real-world knowledge to local job sites, schools, community groups, and care facilities.

The Tradie Advantage: Expert LV Rescue Training

Before transitioning full-time into safety education, Greg spent years working within the building sector. This rugged building background gives him an authentic, first-hand understanding of high-risk industrial environments. Greg speaks the language of the job site, specializing in Low Voltage (LV) Rescue and CPR compliance tailored specifically for tradespeople.

He equips sparkies, builders, and contractors in Grafton and Clarence Valley region with the practical knowledge to operate an LV rescue crook safely, isolate victims without becoming part of the circuit, and manage electrical shock emergencies calmly under pressure.

Real-World Skills for Every Corner of the Community

Gregโ€™s training philosophy moves away from rigid box-ticking. He delivers tailored, engaging, and highly relevant courses designed for diverse sectors:

  • School Kids & Teachers: Stripping away complex medical jargon to teach children how to confidently identify danger and dial Triple Zero, while empowering educators to handle high-stress situations like severe asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Child Care & Aged Care Workers: Focusing heavily on the precise, critical differences required for pediatric CPR, choking protocols, and managing sudden cardiac events in elderly residents.
  • Medical & Corporate Teams: Transitioning office staff and industrial crews into tightly coordinated first-responder teams capable of deploying automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and advanced Oxygen resuscitation equipment without hesitation.
  • General Public: We encourage to learn CPR/First Aid for community awareness. You never know when you will need the knowledge.

Whether he is teaching an advanced resuscitation technique or showing a childcare worker how to clear an infant’s airway, Gregโ€™s mission remains identical: building a resilient, fearless network of everyday heroes across the Clarence Valley.
